Born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1951, Bhakti Chaitanya Swami emerged as a prominent spiritual leader known for his profound compassion, erudite scholarship, and tireless preaching. After completing his studies at Auckland University, his spiritual quest led him across the globe.
In 1972, a defining moment in London altered the course of his existence—he met His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Taking initiation in 1973, he received the name Raghubhir Dasa. Since then, his life has been an unbroken saga of devotion. He spent decades managing pivotal projects, significantly contributing to the spread of Krishna Consciousness.
Recognized for his deep philosophical insight and dedication, he accepted the renounced order of life (sannyasa) in 1994, dedicating every moment entirely to global spiritual outreach and the upliftment of human society.
